It’s the end of the road for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Lisa Barlow and Whitney Rose, according to the Vida Tequila founder.
Lisa, 49, and Whitney, 38, got into a huge argument at Angie Katsanevas’ mob wives-themed 25th wedding anniversary party on the Wednesday, October 23, episode of RHOSLC season 5 after Whitney accused Lisa of sharing damaging information about her jewelry brand, Prism, with an Instagram gossip account. (One of the key story lines this season is that Whitney allegedly lifted jewelry designs from Alibaba, which she has denied.)
Things turned even more dramatic, however, when Lisa walked up to Whitney’s husband, Justin, and accused Whitney of being a liar, prompting Justin and Lisa’s husband, John, to also get into a heated confrontation. “Get him the f— away from me, I’m gonna pound his ass,” Justin is heard telling a security guard in a sneak preview for episode 7, which airs Wednesday, October 30.
Lisa exclusively gave Us Weekly an update on where she stands with Whitney, who she claims has repeatedly spread lies about her across RHOSLC’s five-year run.
“I mean, she’s been doing this since season 1 when she made up lies about me with the bartenders,” Lisa told Us at Hayu FanFest in London on Saturday, October 26. “Then [in] season 2, she came up with more things. Season 3, she accused me of sleeping with a business partner that’s also my husband’s business partner. And the list goes on and on and on, and I’m done. I’m so done.”
Lisa also insisted she didn’t intend to drag John and Justin into her drama with Whitney.
“I didn’t get the husbands involved. I was going up to my husband, John, who happened to be standing next to Justin,” Lisa explained.
“And for me, it’s like, you’re participating in this, you back your wife in her lie,” she added of Justin. “So I’m like, ‘Your wife’s a liar.’ And I mean, there is no lie. It’s out on Twitter, all over the internet, that I was not the one that did that.”
As far as Lisa is concerned, there is no way forward for her and the Wild Rose Beauty founder.
“No. I always have a path forward. I always forgive. I give grace. But I told her this time, ‘You’re lying about me and you’re going to have to say I’m sorry, and this time I’m not going to forgive you,’” Lisa told Us. “It’s been one too many times. Whitney needs to stop lying about everybody.”
The fractured friendship between the Salt Lake City originals could make production tricky if they both return for season 6.
“I don’t care if she’s in front of me, beside me, behind me. I could care less,” Lisa said of potentially filming with Whitney again.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET and is available to stream on Peacock in the U.S. and Hayu internationally.
