NEW YORK (WABC) — A Red Flag Warning is in effect on Saturday as fire danger remains high amid strong winds.
The warning means dry and windy conditions will be favorable for the rapid spread of fires. Wind will be highest on Saturday fueling the fire risk, perhaps gusting 35-40 mph.
Otherwise, expect a sunny and mild weekend with highs in the lower 60s. Chances for rain return midweek, possibly on Wednesday night.
